King of the East Midlands

Andy King, Leicester City's 22 year-old captain, popped up with another goal this evening to add Nottingham Forest to the list of local rivals the Foxes have played off the park.

Positives
 - a solid performance in defence, midfield and attack
 - a fourth clean sheet in six is great
 - City now have the most points in the league from the last 10 matches
 - Vassell is finally showing what he can do
 - Abe has now cancelled Kris Commons of Derby and Lewis McGugan of Forest out of their games with us
 - Weale gave no reason to swap him for new signing Chris Kirkland
 - Andy King.  Nothing more to say.

Negatives
 - Vassell still hasn't quite scored, a goal line clearance this time round
 - Waghorn needs some time to show his £2m pricetag...I'm sure he would come good if given more than 5 minutes in a match

It's strange how a team can have two 'good' performances yet lose one 2-0 to a bottom club and win the next 1-0 against a top club.  Home advantage?  Bad day?  I don't know.  All I do know is that Leicester are up to 14th in the table...giddy heights for this season.  Long may they climb.
