3 Uses for Social Media at Visit Lincoln

Last month I was asked to speak about the work I do on social media with Visit Lincoln (both Facebook, Twitter and others) at the local Twitter meet-up: Lincs Tweet Meet.  I thought I'd share my notes below for anyone who is interested.

Update...

It's been almost four months since I last posted a blog (terrible, I know) but I've got a couple of good excuses.  I now have a bun in the oven and also a permanent job to provide for said bun!

Project Managing the University of Lincoln Videos

Top Gear Recharges in Lincoln

It was all very exciting on Thursday as Jeremy Clarkson and James May ran out of electricity in their electric cars outside the Lincolnshire Echo building in Lincoln.  They were doing a feature on electric cars and needed to charge up again...choosing the University of Lincoln as their charge point.  Cue huge crowd of people and huge excitement city wide.

I managed to get a few snaps with my phone of the celebrities, have a look.
