Google Street View Hyperlapse

A San Fransisco digital company, Teehan+Lax Labs, have created a nifty app to create a 'hyperlapse' (video technique using timelapse and a moving camera) using the data from Google StreetView.  It's very clever and inventive, the original files that created it are available to the public (who know how to use it) and it's very addictive!

I've been trying to tour around Lincoln Cathedral using the Hyperlapse app.

Simply choose your starting and finishing points and a focus point and hit create; the website does the rest for you.  There are limitations put on the app to make it accessible to all (only 60 frames are allowed per animation, meaning the shorter your journey, the smoother) but it's a nifty little app none the less.

Try it out for yourself at http://hyperlapse.tllabs.io and see what is possible on Teehan+Lax's video below.
