After being shown the trailer for The Fourth Kind by Mike (whose review you can read here) a few months ago, it looked intriguing and exciting. I didn't know what to make of a film which claims to show real archive footage of alien abduction and possession and chronicle real case studies of such a phenomenon. So when it came out in the cinemas, we duly went down, on a Wednesday, and got our free ticket to watch the film.
Starring Milla Jovovic, it warns of real archive footage that you will find 'disturbing' and proceeds to give a dramatised version of events with 'archive' footage alongside selected scenes. It's gripping and thrilling throughout but the doubt over its actual true nature is very big and this definitely disappoints and dampens your enthusiasm for the film.
