Election thoughts...

It looks like either a coalition government or a minority government then.  I kind of think that the Liberal Democrats wouldn't want to be the minority party in a coalition and won't join either the Tories or Labour so a Conservative Minority Government is my prediction, with Prime Minister Cameron.


Interesting that in the Midlands, the big cities or Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Nottingham, Leicester and Derby all have inner city Labour voting whereas the countryside surrounding has all gone Conservative.  Rural Conservatives and working class Labours?  I think so!

On the voters turned away from the polling stations, I tend to agree with Doc: fifteen hours open is long enough to make provisions for your vote.  If you have too long hours and are refused time off work to vote or work too far away from home, then order a postal vote and do it earlier!
